In 2013 I traveled to Scotland to perform in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We shared an original adaptation of W.B. Yeat’s Red Hanrahan. Before the festival we rode in a bus to the Isle of Skye, stayed in a hostel, swam in faery pools, attended a highland music festival and generally had an amazing trip. On the evening that we arrived I announced that I would be heading out for a walk at 6:00am, would be gone all day, and that anyone who wanted to join was welcome. Turned out to be a solo event...and what a spectacular time it was. These are the pics from the trip set to a piece of music I wrote entitled “Wandering Song”.
